RESERVATION AND PAYMENT

  1. Making a Reservation
To ensure accuracy and security, reservations can be made by submitting a completed Booking & Enquiry form online or by sending a written reservation form via email. Please note that reservations by phone are not accepted.
  2. Deposit and Confirmation
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking value is required within 14 days of making the reservation. Your booking is officially confirmed only upon receipt of this deposit, and there shall be no binding contract until payment is received. Failure to remit the deposit on time will result in an automatic change of status to a provisional basis and may lead to the cancellation of your reserved space.
  3. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due no later than 60 days prior to the commencement of your program. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the Company treating your reservation as canceled and forfeiting the deposit.
  4. Late Reservations
For any bookings made 60 days or less before departure, full payment is required immediately upon confirmation of your cruise or tour.
  5. Payment Methods
We accept payments via wire transfer and major credit cards, including VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Please note that an additional processing fee applies for credit card payments.
  6. Rate Inclusions and Exclusions
Cruise rates include on-board accommodations as reserved, transport, daily meals with drinks including house wine, local beer, and bottled water, entrance fees for scheduled sightseeing, and shipboard entertainment. All fares are quoted in Chinese Yuan.
Rates do not include medical services, purchases from the ship's gift shop, or items of a strictly personal nature such as laundry, telephone calls, massages, and drinks outside of the specified meal plan.

CANCELLATION REFUNDS

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Cancellation charges are calculated based on the total booking value and the date the written notice is received by the Company.

  1. 180 days or more prior to sailing: 10% of the total cruise fare will be charged.
  2. 179 to 60 days prior to sailing: 20% of the total cruise fare will be charged.
  3. 59 to 31 days prior to sailing: 50% of the total cruise fare will be charged.
  4. 30 days or less prior to sailing: 100% of the total cruise fare will be charged.

GRATUITIES

Gratuities for onboard staff and excursion guides are not included in the cruise fare. We believe that tipping should be based on your personal experience and the quality of service received during your journey.

BOARDING AND RESPONSIBILITY

All passengers must be aboard the vessel no later than 60 minutes before the scheduled sailing time. It is the passenger's responsibility to arrive on time. Yangzi Explorer shall not be required to refund any portion of the fare paid by any passenger who fails for any reason to be on board at the time of departure from the port of embarkation or any port of call. The Company shall not be responsible for lodging, meals, transportation, or other expenses incurred by the passenger as a result of missing the departure. Consequently, Yangzi Explorer shall have no obligation to deviate from any scheduled sailing or port of call.

REFUNDS FOR MISSING DAYS

Refunds will not be made to any cruise passengers who must leave the cruise prematurely for any reason.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

Given the unpredictable nature of international travel, we strongly recommend that guests of the Yangzi Explorer purchase comprehensive travel insurance. A full policy should cover trip cancellation and interruption, medical expenses, travel delays, baggage loss, and personal injury.

ACTS OF GOD AND FORCE MAJEURE

In the event of a strike, flood, shallow water, weather conditions, or any other force majeure, Yangzi Explorer may at any time and without prior notice cancel, advance, postpone, or deviate from any scheduled sailing or port of call. The Company may, but is not obliged to, substitute another vessel or port of call and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to passengers by reason of such cancellation, advancement, postponement, deviation, or substitution.
